I LOVE playing rockin' songs on KHITS in the morning 'cause when I'm crankin' up the studio speakers (...and they are SA-weet!)...I visualize you rollin' down the highway 'equally cranked'! I've been up and down the dial in St. Louis since the mid 80's doing news anchor and talk show host gigs on the AM band. On FM I've been "Rockin' Ricky" (still am!), part of Chase and Sanborn , one of the brothers of The Sanborn Brothers,and the music stations ran the gamut, rock, country, oldies, soft rock, smooth jazz...and here at "The Rock Wall of Emmis" where I'm havin' a blast! This place rocks!

A 50 year old Canadian man won a Canadian Bud Light sponsored contest to go to the Superbowl. He was picked from more than 4 million entrants. This past Thursday he went to the airport intending to fly to The Big Easy with tickets to the big game and many other perks of the contest. Customs officials denied Myles Wilkenson's entry into the U.S. because he was busted more than 30 years ago, when he was 19 years old, for possessing 2 grams of marijuana. Bud Light Canada then invited him to a Superbowl party in Vancouver to watch it on t-v. Worst. Consolation. Prize. Ever.
