I LOVE playing rockin' songs on KHITS in the morning 'cause when I'm crankin' up the studio speakers (...and they are SA-weet!)...I visualize you rollin' down the highway 'equally cranked'! I've been up and down the dial in St. Louis since the mid 80's doing news anchor and talk show host gigs on the AM band. On FM I've been "Rockin' Ricky" (still am!), part of Chase and Sanborn , one of the brothers of The Sanborn Brothers,and the music stations ran the gamut, rock, country, oldies, soft rock, smooth jazz...and here at "The Rock Wall of Emmis" where I'm havin' a blast! This place rocks!

9 daze until I see The Stones in Newark. Yesterday I posted a video of Eric Clatpon playing with The Stones in London and mentioned that my 'wish list' for the December 13th U.S. show would be for Clapton to again be a guest--could happen. First The Stones will play December 8th in Brooklyn and today they announced the special guests for that show will be Mary J. Blige for 'Gimme Shelter" and Guy Clark, Jr. who I saw this past summer @ Lollapalooza and he delivered a GREAT set. So if that's the Newark December 13th guests I'm fine with it. However Clapton, just yesterday, said he would be at the 12-12-12 concert @ Madison Square Garden. That benefit show is for Hurricane Sandy aid efforts and has a stellar line up. I'm thinking since Clapton is already in the New York/New Jersey area the day BEFORE The Stones December 13th show, he just may venture to the Prudential Center to once again burn up the fret with The Greatest Rock 'N' Roll Band in the world! Here's hoping so (and continuing to HOPE that I can buy a ticket for the sold out Decmber 15th show as well!...think positively for me...I appreciate the good vibes. It's only rock 'n' roll but I like it, like it...yes I do!
