WEEKDAYS 6:00am-10:00am

I LOVE playing rockin' songs on KHITS in the morning 'cause when I'm crankin' up the studio speakers (...and they are SA-weet!)...I visualize you rollin' down the highway 'equally cranked'! I've been up and down the dial in St. Louis since the mid 80's doing news anchor and talk show host gigs on the AM band. On FM I've been "Rockin' Ricky" (still am!), part of Chase and Sanborn , one of the brothers of The Sanborn Brothers, and the music stations ran the gamut, rock, country, oldies, soft rock, smooth jazz...and here at "The Rock Wall of Emmis" where I'm havin' a blast! This place rocks!

Oh Yeah, one more of MY Stones vids, and one of the Mick 'n' Mick
Posted 12/18/2012 10:35:00 AM

Mick Taylor tells Billboard.com he has "an intuitive feeling" that the Rolling Stones will play more shows and he's "150% on board" for any future dates, if there are any. The first vid is from my iPhone inside the Prudential Center on Saturday night. The YouTube vid is from the Thursday night show where Mick Taylor (and Mick Jagger) TEAR IT UP on "Midnight Rambler". After the Saturday show all who participated on stage took a group bow, but when the entire group, save for Ronnie Mick Charlie and Keith, left the stage, Jagger called to Mick Taylor to stay and take the bow with the 4 current members of the band. A thoughtul gesture. If the Stones are serious about the 'and counting' part, as in ...50 and counting...I'm hopeful that the 'and counting' shows in 2013 will include Mick Taylor for more than a one-song guest shot. A dream ...
