I LOVE playing rockin' songs on KHITS in the morning 'cause when I'm crankin' up the studio speakers (...and they are SA-weet!)...I visualize you rollin' down the highway 'equally cranked'! I've been up and down the dial in St. Louis since the mid 80's doing news anchor and talk show host gigs on the AM band. On FM I've been "Rockin' Ricky" (still am!), part of Chase and Sanborn , one of the brothers of The Sanborn Brothers,and the music stations ran the gamut, rock, country, oldies, soft rock, smooth jazz...and here at "The Rock Wall of Emmis" where I'm havin' a blast! This place rocks!

I'll be in the presence of The Greatest Rock 'N' Roll Band in the world..The Rolling Stones! I managed to get ONE ticket (relatively cheap) for the December 13th show in Newark, so I'm in for that show, but I'm still gonna stay in a hotel a half mile from the venue for a couple days after the 13th show in hopes of getting a ticket for Saturday December 15th. I checked Craig's list in New York and New Jersey where the cheapest ticket is listed for 500.00 and the most expensive is 8,000.00 !! I don't have that kinda jack. Obviously the person shooting this YouTube video had a premium ticket for the London show 'cause it's up close and after seeing this, I'm hopeful that Eric Clapton will once again be a 'special guest' when The Stones play in Newark, where, (did I mention?!) I'll BE in ten daze and counting!
