I LOVE playing rockin' songs on KHITS in the morning 'cause when I'm crankin' up the studio speakers (...and they are SA-weet!)...I visualize you rollin' down the highway 'equally cranked'! I've been up and down the dial in St. Louis since the mid 80's doing news anchor and talk show host gigs on the AM band. On FM I've been "Rockin' Ricky" (still am!), part of Chase and Sanborn , one of the brothers of The Sanborn Brothers,and the music stations ran the gamut, rock, country, oldies, soft rock, smooth jazz...and here at "The Rock Wall of Emmis" where I'm havin' a blast! This place rocks!

Have to wait for the dvd to 'experiment'...the movie "Oz The Great and Powerful" hits big screens today. It's a 'kind of' prequel to The Wizard of Oz. Some behind the scenes legal wrangling took place since Warner Brothers owns the rights to the characters and their descriptions. The legal dogs at Warner Brothers and their counterparts at Disney, which is behind the new movie, came to these agreements...1) Disney could not use the ruby slippers 2) the witch could be green but NOT the same SHADE of green as the witch in the original movie 3) the witch could NOT be shown to have a mole on her chin and 4) the flying monkeys in the new movie are actually baboons
