I LOVE playing rockin' songs on KHITS in the morning 'cause when I'm crankin' up the studio speakers (...and they are SA-weet!)...I visualize you rollin' down the highway 'equally cranked'! I've been up and down the dial in St. Louis since the mid 80's doing news anchor and talk show host gigs on the AM band. On FM I've been "Rockin' Ricky" (still am!), part of Chase and Sanborn , one of the brothers of The Sanborn Brothers,and the music stations ran the gamut, rock, country, oldies, soft rock, smooth jazz...and here at "The Rock Wall of Emmis" where I'm havin' a blast! This place rocks!

Your kids will be seeing the movie "Lincoln" in school. Steven Spielberg says he received so many requests from educators for the dvd that when it's released a copy will be shipped to every public and private middle and high school in the United States! Teachers will also get an accompanying study guide to enhance the classroom presentation. Today is Abraham Lincoln's birthday.Today, to honor Lincoln’s Birthday, Participant Media’s Social Action Campaign, “Stand Tall: Live Like Lincoln” will bring the film to 8 U.S. towns all named Lincoln, followed in mid-March with screenings at 15 Lincoln high schools across the country in largely underserved communities. As part of that effort, each school will receive brand-new, audio-visual equipment to best experience “Lincoln” and any future films they screen at their school.
