I LOVE playing rockin' songs on KHITS in the morning 'cause when I'm crankin' up the studio speakers (...and they are SA-weet!)...I visualize you rollin' down the highway 'equally cranked'! I've been up and down the dial in St. Louis since the mid 80's doing news anchor and talk show host gigs on the AM band. On FM I've been "Rockin' Ricky" (still am!), part of Chase and Sanborn , one of the brothers of The Sanborn Brothers, and the music stations ran the gamut, rock, country, oldies, soft rock, smooth jazz...and here at "The Rock Wall of Emmis" where I'm havin' a blast! This place rocks!

Surrealist Superstar Salvadore Dali provided his 'vision' of Alice In Wonderland thru illustrations for a VERY RARE 1969 edition of the book. How rare? The accompanying article says Amazon only has one copy and the asking price is 12 grand. Do you see how MAYBE Heath Ledger got inspired for his Joker make-up when you look at "The Pool of Tears"? (Maybe not , but my mind works that way!:) and I like the White Rabbit in "Down The Rabbit Hole" and would like to believe that the members of the Jefferson Airplane got inspred by that painting (could have happened!) Then there's Dali's iconic 'melting clock' that he managed to include in the "Mad Tea Party" illustration. What a harmonic convergence...1969, Alice and Dali...trippy man!http://bit.ly/vYK375
