Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band will team up with and Kid Rock & The Twisted Brown Trucker Band for two Midwest dates in March. Seger and Rock will play a double bill on March 15th in Saint Paul, Minneapolis at the Xcel Energy Center and March 16th at Fargo, North Dakota's Fargodome.

Seger and Kid Rock have been friends since 2000, and in 2004 Rock inducted Seger into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame. Two years later Rock teamed up with Seger on his 2006 Face The Promise album for a duet of Vince Gill's "Real Mean Bottle." Seger appeared on Kid Rock's Born Free album playing piano on his duet with Sheryl Crow, "Collide." Seger and his Silver Bullet Band have often rehearsed at Rock's rehearsal warehouse in Detroit.

Bob Seger told us that we can expect both Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow to appear on the song "Hannah" -- which will be on Seger's still-untitled upcoming album due out later this year: "We record Friday nights in Nashville and it just so happened that Rock was playing that night, and Sheryl Crow was at his show -- and of course she lives in Nashville, near there -- and they came over and they sang on a song with me. So that was fun."
