John Fogerty launches U.S. tour tonight in L.A.

John Fogerty is back on the road, kicking off his latest tour tonight (October 10th) in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live. Fogerty's current crop of dates will stretch through the middle of next month when he wraps things up over three nights on November 12th, 13th, and 14th at Manhattan's Beacon Theatre. Fogerty will be spotlighting key tracks from his recent star-studded collaborative collection, Wrote A Song For Everyone, which debuted at Number Three on the Billboard 200 album chart. On top of that, depending on the date, Fogerty will be performing either Creedence Clearwater Revival's 1969 Bayou Country or 1970 Cosmo's Factory album in its entirety during the show.

John Fogerty told us that he prides himself in the fact that although 45 years into being a constant voice on rock radio -- his creative side hasn't dwindled with age; "I mean, there were many times in my recording and touring career where I have shown lots of different diversions in my, y'know, musical career -- unashamedly. I mean, it's not like I have to defend it or make it work, or whatever. I'm just kind of trying things. And I like it, 'hope you like, and if you don't -- well, whatever. That's an opinion."
