Elton John has just added a handful of stops to his set of spring dates down South. The eight-date U.S. mini tour will now kick-off on March 15th in Birmingham, Alabama and wrap up on April 5th in Nashville, Tennessee. On April 20th, he'll be back performing his Million Dollar Piano show at Las Vegas' Caesars Palace.

On January 11th, Elton and partner David Furnish welcomed their second son, Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John. The baby, who weighed eight pounds and four ounces, was once again born via a surrogate in Los Angeles. The couple already has a two-year-old son, Zachary.

Elton John and his longtime lyricist Bernie Taupin are still hard at work on their latest bunch of songs, going in a third time to revamp the material for Elton's upcoming album. Although the set is still on track for a May release, the album's name has been changed from The Diving Board to Voyeur. Elton told us that in his 45-year partnership with Taupin, one member has never outranked the other: "It's never been major/minor, it's always been 50/50, it's never been. . . we've never even thought of it like that, from my point of view, anyway. It's a relationship that's never, ever been questioned. It's always as a one -- it's never split. It's a complete 'one' relationship."

Elton John will next perform on Friday (January 25th) in Anaheim, California at Yamaha's 125th Anniversary Concert at Hyperion Theatre at Disney's California Adventure.
