Monday, 4/28 -- Hello, guitar heroes.

Someone on the show doesn’t know what the game Guitar Hero is. But John thinks a money making opportunity is waiting for the person who makes “Fiddle Hero.”

I love using machines to their fullest potential. Some people (cough, JC, cough) like to use machines at their minimal potential.

Time Shift: the recording of programming to a storage medium to be viewed or listened to at a time more convenient to the consumer. Typically, this refers to TV programming.

JC got a “rebate check” from a local carpet company. He was not amused, Edward.

The St. Louis Rams selected David Vobora as the new "Mr. Irrelevant." He gets a free trip to Newport Beach, California.

The Japanese love cats. But a lot of them live in cramped apartments where they're not allowed to have cats. That's why they are going to these new “cat cafes” to hang out with the 12 or 13 cats that live in the cafes. People pay between $8 to $12 an hour to drink tea & hang out with cats.

Cubs–Cardinals Busch Bash Smooshes: The opposite of a a-pepper & the pitcher–catcher combo would be Assault & Battery. The pitcher who gave up Lou Brock’s 3,000th hit & the shopping/dining center at 141 & Clayton would be Dennis Lamp & Lantern Village.

To see that top teevee show list from the New York Post, clicky.

Laurie thinks “M*A*S*H” should be on the list. John says “Candid Camera” should be on the list. Here’s Woody Allen on the show from the 60s:

Who’d We See?

John – Friday: a late baseball game. During the rain delay, Randy Flores sat on John’s foot. Then Tony La Russa said to Randy, using his nickname, “Flo, what do you think this is, a hot tub?”

Saturday: more baseball & then his brother-in-law was married. Congratulations to Matt & Susan.

Sunday: had more baseball & went to his youngest daughter’s soccer game.

Me – Friday: Dinner at Milo’s on the Hill & then saw Jersey Boys at the Fox.

Saturday: Rams draft party at the dome. Got a call at 6pm to go to Van Halen & then afterwards to the Tin Can.

Sunday: My daughter watched Alvin & the Chipmunks & learned about product placement. I accidentally broke some furniture & then my family & I were greeters at 6 o’clock Mass.

JC – Friday: Saw In Bruges with “Triple C” then to dinner at LoRussos.

Saturday: ran errands & threw a baseball as hard as he could at his wife. (She caught it – in a glove).

Sunday: bought carpet & tried to get a ping pong table at Sears & Dick’s.

Laurie – Friday: went to a design presentation at Stages. Then she went to the Hot City Theater’s production of Men with Clubs.

Saturday: she thanks Jane & Michael for the great time she had at the Mustard Seed’s production of Measure for Measure.

Sunday: a house call visit from veterinarian Dr. Kim Lynch DVM, CVA. Here’s her contact info: 10842 Olive Blvd, 63141. 314.412.5069. Or email her at kvet@mlc.net.

Our boss called in to say he didn’t do much all weekend.

The JoY was Shel Silverstein’s “Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout Would Not Take The Garbage Out” (& our giveaway of $25 to Saint Louis Bread Company). The 3fA featured Eddie Money & tickets to the opening night of the Greater Saint Louis Book Fair. The Vault was the new Journey song, “Never Walk Away” (with their new new singer, Arnel Pineda). Finally, Ving Rhames first name is Irving.

Don't Do Anything Stupid,
Carl The Intern
