Tuesday, 4/22 -- Happy Earth Day, dear listener. Happy Earth Day to you.

To see the myths about Compact Fluorescents, clicky.

The Easy-Bake Oven, currently a product of Hasbro, is a working toy oven that for many years used an ordinary light bulb as a heat source, but now has a true heating element. Eleven versions of the Easy-Bake Oven have been sold. By 1997, more than 16 million Easy-Bake Ovens had been sold.

John remembers “Pitch In.”

Laurie remembers Iron Eyes Cody.

JC believes that Earth Day will work when big business & not just the “little people” participate in saving the planet.

Speaking of big business, to see the full list of America's largest corporations, including detailed company profiles & contact information, clicky.

Sales of hybrids were up 38% last year. Now the US has more than 350,000 hybrids on the road. That sounds like a lot, but hybrids only made up 2.2% of all the cars sold last year. That means that 15.5 million cars sold last year were the normal gas-guzzling, earth-polluting kind. The most popular hybrid vehicle, the one that makes up 51% of the entire hybrid market is still the Toyota Prius. Most of those were sold in California, which is responsible for 26% of all hybrid registrations in the U.S.  Florida, New York, Texas & Washington are the other top states where people bought the most hybrid vehicles.

Cheating Truth: If your significant other has a history of cheating, then they'll probably cheat on you, too.

Cheating Myths: Men cheat more than women do.
Affairs are mostly about sex. If they cheat on you, they don't love you. If there's no sex, it's not an affair.

Then we started talking about “emotional affairs” (& football).

Aren’t all rectal exams unwanted? To see more about an unwanted rectal exam in NYC, clicky.

Busch Bash Smooshes (created by “Triple C”): Red-headed #25 & Carly Smithson’s homeland would be Mark McGwIreland. Upper deck section & track three from Genesis’ Invisible Touch would be Big Mac Land of Confusion. And the full name of Al’s place & when the Moon passes through some portion of the Earth's shadow would be Al Hrabosky's Ballpark Sa-Lunar Eclipse.

The JoY was stand-up from Jake Johannsen. The 3fA featured Santana (appearing at Scottrade Center Wednesday night). The Vault was live “Dog & Butterfly” from Heart. Finally, the three stars of Charlie Wilson’s War all have won Academy Awards.
