Tuesday, 3/25 -- Hello, fans of the dyngus. Yesterday was Easter Monday, or dyngus day.

I’m sorry to Laurie for when I laughed in the middle of her commercial. I wasn’t paying attention & was looking at something else. (Because I’ve heard I’m a selfish ass!)

JC has a little television in the bathroom.

Can you, the listener, figure out what looks odd in this picture?

JC is fascinated with televangelists.

From the wiki: “Prosperity theology” is the teaching that authentic religious belief will result in material prosperity for the believer. Prosperity theology is also known as prosperity doctrine or perhaps most commonly the Prosperity Gospel. The doctrine holds that material prosperity, particularly financial prosperity and success in business and personal life, is to be expected as external evidence of God's favor. This favor may be preordained, or granted in return for efficacious prayer, merit-making and/or appropriate faith.

A list of people who –
may or may not,
have or have not,
am, are, is, was, were, be, being, been, become, became
Prosperity ministers (I think that takes care of us legally):
Ernest Angley, Jim & Tammy Faye Bakker, Juanita Bynum, David Yonggi Cho, Kenneth Copeland, Paul Crouch, Billy Joe Daugherty, Creflo Dollar, Jesse Duplantis, Kong Hee, Benny Hinn, Brian Houston, T.D. Jakes, Marcus Lamb, Eddie L. Long, Joyce Meyer, Chris Mentillo, Mike Murdock, Myles Munroe, Joel Osteen, Peter Popoff, Phil Pringle, Pat Robertson (he calls it the "Law of Reciprocity"), Nasir Saddiki, Jeremy Shum, Lester Sumrall, Robert Tilton & Paula White.

JC & John like watching news with pretty women. I get all my news from John Ulett.

I do think that Lara Logan from CBS News is the prettiest girl in the room. She’s South African, not British btw.

Mexico is the 2nd fattest country in the world. (We’re first. Yea!)

“Higher Than a Kite” is the 72nd short subject starring American slapstick comedy team Three Stooges. In it the Stooges want to fly for the Royal Air Force, but end up mechanics working in a motor-pool garage. When given the assignment of getting a 'squeak' out of the General's car from his assistant Kelly, they get sidetracked after Moe's head gets stuck in a pipe.

According to a study from the University of Tennessee, the happiest marriages are the ones where the woman is more attractive than the man. For more, clicky.

A recent survey from the University of Chicago found that 45% of doctors regularly prescribe sugar pills when you think you're getting real medication.  Some of the reasons they might prescribe a placebo instead of real medicine include:

To help calm frantic patients.
When patients demand unnecessary medication.
When all other treatment has failed.

The logic is that if you think you need medication, then any medication will help even if it doesn't actually do anything. It's all about the power of suggestion. It apparently works the other way too.  Sometimes patients give up & when that happens, even the correct medication doesn't help.

Health.com just came out with a list of the 10 healthiest chain restaurants in America:

-- Olive Garden
-- Chevy's Fresh Mex
-- Romano's Macaroni Grill
-- Ruby Tuesday
-- Bob Evans
-- P.F. Chang's
-- Mimi's Café
-- Souplantation & Sweet Tomatoes
-- Uno Chicago Grill (the "fat free" menu).

Our company’s president came up with the term “iPod fatigue.”

“Mythbusters” busted the “airplane explosive decompression” myth. They wanted to know if a small hole (such as a bullet hole) is made in a plane at altitude, can it cause explosive decompression and literally suck you through that hole? The pressure is not high enough and the hole is too small. Explosive decompression only occurred when a hole the size of a window was made with explosives. Even then, the rush of air could not suck a person (or Buster) completely out of the hole. Lastly, there are proven instances of explosive decompression where the plane was still able to maintain control and land.

Viewers who don't have HBO will be able to see the acclaimed “John Adams” miniseries on DVD starting June 10th.

JC had a great soda vending machine experience. Something went wrong while the vending guy was standing next to the machine. The guy pulled a “Fonzie” and hit the machine in a sweet spot & the soda came out.

The year & a day in prison sentencing is done that way because it makes the prisoner eligible for good-time credit & makes the sentence more lenient than if it was just one year.

The Vault was “Southbound Train” by Crosby & Nash. Finally, Katie Felts became a broadcaster because of her love of power-lifting.
