Blown job interviews:
JC – At one he was too serious; at another he was too funny.
Laurie – They couldn’t get ahold of her.
Me – Someone I thought was a friend who worked at the place I was interviewing sabotaged me to try to get the job for himself.
John – hasn’t had any job interviews.
From Reuters & Career Builder, in a recent survey, hiring managers and human resource professionals were asked to list the biggest mistakes people made in job interviews over the last year.
– A man told the interviewer he probably wouldn't stay on the job very long because he stood to inherit a lot of money when his uncle died & his uncle "wasn't looking too good."
– A woman said she couldn't provide a writing sample because her last job had been for the CIA & all her writing was "classified."
– A man who was doing an interview over the phone actually flushed the toilet in the middle of his interview.

Who’d We See:
JC: Friday – Sportsmans Park with the kids.
Saturday – Woofies for brunch. Stories from his daughter’s Rock School.
Sunday – Watched The Incredibles & he has a plea for people to stop staring at him when he buys deli food & eats it right in the car.
John: Friday – Ate in his car.
Saturday – Volleyball & soccer in the day. That evening John & Laura Imo had a Children Variety Club charity party. They made the pizzas just the way John liked, nearly burnt.
Sunday – More soccer.
Me: Friday – had my daughter’s picture with the Easter Bunny and dropped off my girls at High School Musical on Ice while I went to a Corned Beef Party at my friends Kyle & Jen’s house.
Saturday – Went to the Parade at UMR with my wife’s family, then went to another St. Pat’s party at the Poniewaz household. We pooled our money together for the Powerball & won – a ticket.
Sunday – My wife & grandmother starred in a play at the Chatillon-DeMenil House titled “The Prohibition Revue.” After that we were greeters at Palm Sunday Evening Mass at Saint Gabriel – where I’ll be with Mark Klose for the final fish fry on Friday.
Laurie: Friday – drove forever to an audition (didn’t get it).
Saturday – Drove forever to an audition (didn’t get it). Then she broadcast from the downtown Saint Pat’s. Went shopping for dresses: one for her brother’s wedding & one for her upcoming stint as a presenter at the Kevin Kline Awards.
Sunday – She watched The Good Shepherd.
The JoY was “The Scottsman” by Brian Bowers. The 3fA featured Van Morrison (I forget why). The Vault was “Sentimental Lady” by Fleetwood Mac. Finally, here are some nature names: Rainn Wilson, River Phoenix, Rain Pryor, Keanu Reeves, Soleil Moon Frey & Reverend Sun Myung Moon. Also Brandi Chastain was on the U.S. women's national soccer team from 1991 to 2004. She is best known for her game-winning penalty kick against China in the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup final & her bra-baring celebration afterwards.
