Hello & welcome to week three of the Faux-Gram. And no, I haven’t been made aware of anything to tell anyone.
In the simplest of terms – George Carlin was high in the 60s, a drugged-up, heart-attacked mess in the 70s, cleaned up in the 80s, was bitter in the 90s & is surprisingly alive in the 00s; but is still consistently funny.
Bob Seger’s “Like a Rock” has been in commercials for over 10 years.
Mark & John remember when the Rolling Stones were sponsored by Jovan Musk.
The only movie John had seen from last night’s Academy Award show was No Country for Old Men. Laurie, on the other hand, brings up the average by seeing most of them.
Brad Delp from Boston died almost a year ago (March 9th).
Eldrick “Tiger” Woods, Roger Federer and Thierry Henry have an endorsement deal with Gillette.
Here’s the info for Rib America: click here.

Harry Potter fans are going through withdrawal. Umm, don’t they still have two movies to look forward to seeing?
Their air might bring pollution complaints, but residents of Los Angeles drink the nation's tastiest tap water, according to the judges of an international competition. More than 120 water sources competed in the 18th annual Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting, held last Saturday.
If you, the listener, will remember back in July the U.S. Conference of Mayors announced that Saint Louis had the Best Tasting City Water in America. (Anaheim was in the top five in that poll). But LA’s win is International!
All week we have four-packs of tickets to The Wedding Singer for opening night on Tuesday, March 11th at the Fabulous Fox Theatre. Tix are available at the Fox Theatre Box Office or at any Metrotix outlet.
Radio Rich’s wedding song was “Here, There & Everywhere” by the Beatles.
We also had tickets to the upcoming concert featuring Robert Plant & John Waite’s girlfriend, Alison Krauss on Thursday, June 19th at the Fox Theatre (& will have more all week).

The JoY was this little girl (who is not my daughter – my daughter hasn’t seen Star Wars yet) & “Weird Al’s” Yoda. The 3fA featured Elton John (born Reginald Dwight in London, 1947) & Fabulous Thunderbirds’ tickets (coming soon to Harrah’s).
The Vault was Bad English’s “Forget Me Not.” (We talked about everybody in this band today.) Finally, of all those people I listed above Prairie Prince was Journey’s first drummer.
Don't Do Anything Stupid,
