Wednesday, 2/20 -- Hello, nerds – be you a music, weather, ocean or lunar nerd.

Music we played:
-- “Pretending” & “Badge” from Clapton’s 24 Nights.
-- “I’m Still Standing” – Elton John from Divas Live 1999.
-- “Once in a Lifetime” – Talking Heads from Stop Making Sense.
-- Pink Floyd took their names after two blues musicians, Pink Anderson and Floyd Council. We played a Roger solo (doing “Another Brick in the Wall part 2” from In the Flesh), the band without Roger (“Time" from Delicate Sound of Thunder) & the entire band in happier times performing. “Comfortably Numb” from Is Anybody Out There?
-- REO Speedwagon live in Saint Louis from 10 years apart (1977 & 1987).
-- “You Shook Me All Night Long” & “Back in Black” from AC/DC Live.

When I was in school we had four oceans (Atlantic, Pacific, Indian & Arctic). In 2000, the “water & map nerds” added the Antarctic (or Southern) Ocean.

Just a reminder that tonight is the lunar eclipse: it'll begin at 7:43pm Central. It'll last around 11 minutes & halfway through the moon will be completely red.

Dave said watch out for centipedes in Hawaii.

In Garfield, New Jersey (northeast of Newark), there is a service called Tavern Tax that will send a tax accountant to meet you at the bar & do your taxes for you while you get hammered. The service is totally legit.

They're a licensed Certified Public Accounting firm that has been around for 15 years. And, according to the website, Tavern Tax was started to, quote, "provide professional income tax preparation services in a friendly environment without the normal stress that a trip to the tax accountant causes."

If you, the listener, want to get your taxes done by Tavern Tax, call them at 973.883.0246. Or, just go to their website and click on “calendar” to see where Tavern Tax will be and when.

We marveled at Rihanna (her looks, not her songs). Happy Birthday to her (& my friend Mike, too).

In Canada, Mountain Dew doesn’t have caffeine.

The JoY was “Big Balls” by AC/DC. The F4 was all about “I” & Rain tickets at the Fox. The Vault was “Split Decision” by Steve Winwood (on tour with Clapton in NYC next week – see it all comes full circle). Finally, Billy Joel will be the first artist to play both Yankee Stadium & Shea Stadium.

Don't Do Anything Stupid,
