Paul McCartney got lots of money from the inheritance of his late wife, Linda. But she is not of the Eastmans of Eastman Kodak ... that is a wide misperception that has gone on for years.
Her father was a very successful entertainment lawyer ... largely responsible for getting Paul to invest in music publishing, accounting for much of his fortune.
Now, his ex-wife, Heather – she is from the General Mills family (no, not really).

Happy Birthday Ray Manzarek (& to my friend “The Joe,” too)! Finally, since the writers’ strike is ending after 100 days, we remembered that the 1988 strike was 22 weeks.
