Tuesday, 2/12 -- Hi, everyone. I’m getting lots of weird e-mails & it’s not even a full moon. Although we are still doing live vault shows.

Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers – “Breakdown,” “American Girl” & “Needles & Pins (with Stevie Nicks)” from Pack Up the Plantation & the Super Bowl.

U2 – “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” “I Will Follow,” “Bullet the Blue Sky” & “Pride (in the Name of Love)” from Rattle and Hum & Under a Blood Red Sky.

Rare Earth’s 20-minute version of “Get Ready” by request.

The Who – “Long Live Rock,” “My Generation” & “Substitute” from the BBC Sessions.

Led Zeppelin – “Over the Hills & Far Away,” “Dancing Days” & “The Ocean” from How the West Was Won.

Deep Purple – “Smoke on the Water” “Hush” & “Highway Star” from Nobody’s Perfect.

John Fogerty – “Green River,” “Sweet Hitch-hiker” & “Hey Tonight” from The Long Road Home.

Paul McCartney got lots of money from the inheritance of his late wife, Linda. But she is not of the Eastmans of Eastman Kodak ... that is a wide misperception that has gone on for years.

Her father was a very successful entertainment lawyer ... largely responsible for getting Paul to invest in music publishing, accounting for much of his fortune.

Now, his ex-wife, Heather – she is from the General Mills family (no, not really).

Al Hrobosky is coming to see us Wednesday morning. He’s on his way down to Spring Training soon. Hey, we are giving away a spring training package! Details to follow, but if you, the listener, are interested in buying one of these packages, then clicky.

The JoY was “The Internet is for Porn” from Avenue Q (opening tonight at the Fox). The 3fA featured BB King (in concert tomorrow night at the Family Arena (& our tickets to Body Worlds now in it’s final days). The Vault was “Love Me Two Times” by the Doors. Happy Birthday Ray Manzarek (& to my friend “The Joe,” too)! Finally, since the writers’ strike is ending after 100 days, we remembered that the 1988 strike was 22 weeks.

Do Anything Stupid,
Carl The Intern
