The new SLU athletic director likes to quote the Promise Keepers. Chris May was a former Assistant Athletic Director with Colorado University where Bill McCartney (founder of said Keepers) screwed over the Missouri Tigers.

Dario Franchitti is the driver of the #40 Dodge Avenger in NASCAR Sprint Cup & married to Ashley Judd. See her naked in HBO’s “Norma Jean & Marilyn” Also Mira Sorvino is naked, too.

I don’t know how I knew this, but from tv.com: “The Smurfs are a group of over 100 bluish, three-apple tall creatures who live in the mushroom homes of Smurf Village. They are led by 543-year-old Papa Smurf (who doesn't look a day over 530). Their lives would be perfect were it not for the villainous Gargamel, a wizard who spends his days trying to capture them to eat, turn into gold, or for some other evil reason.”

In the film Donnie Darko, Smurfette is described like this: “First of all, Papa Smurf didn't create Smurfette. Gargamel did. She was sent in as Gargamel's evil spy with the intention of destroying the Smurf village. But the overwhelming goodness of the Smurf way of life transformed her.”

We hope the meeting between St. Stan’s & the Archdiocese goes well. But because the meeting was called as Archbishop Raymond Burke began the process of defrocking the Rev. Marek Bozek, it's unclear whether church leadership will consider Bozek's ideas. To see the Baltimore Catechism, clicky.

I like Hall & Oates. I said it.

Cliff Politte has been invited back to Cardinal’s spring training. He went to Vianney High School. His debut was April 2, 1998 vs. the LA Dodgers. His record was a no decision with 5.0 IP, 2 H, 4 SO, 3 BB, 1 ER. Juan Acevedo won the game for the Cardinals. The final score was 8-5. We are giving away a spring training package. Details to follow, but if you, the listener, are interested in buying one of these packages, then clicky.

We have a Valentine’s Day promotion beginning on Wednesday. Daily prizes include the Chase’s famous Brunch at Eau Bistro; the grand prize includes an overnight stay.

Dave’s also doing his spring weather special on Valentine’s Day.

Topping the rumor list for the new “Dancing with the Stars” is “Brady Bunch” mom Florence Henderson, who, in the past, has been spotted sitting in the audience of the show. Also in the mix is child-star Kristy McNichol, former “Charlie's Angel” Cheryl Ladd, Priscilla Presley, Marla Maples, Olympic skater Kristi Yamaguchi, “Bachelor” host Chris Harrison, "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" star Paige Hemmis and possibly even Donny Osmond.

This was the most-watched Super Bowl ever.

JC says rent The Big Picture.

We think that Mark Klose may be a vampire. We had Josh from Companion Bread in studio. They opened in the winter of 1993 and the Central West End & Ladue locations have just opened. Clicky.

The JoY was “Scab Writer” by Bob Rivers. The 3fA featured Queen & our 4th row tickets to Blue Man Group. The Vault was “Trapped” from Bruce Springsteen & the E-Street Band. Finally, Larry Fortensky (Liz Taylor’s 7th husband) was a teamster & contractor.
