Yesterday, I should have used the word “different” somewhere in the Blarrrg (I’m not saying where). The sentence made sense in context, but the grammar police yelled at me.
It was a sausage festival today. Laurie is out consulting the Giuliani & Edwards campaigns.
We started The Showgram by reminiscing about 4 Way Street by Crosby Stills Nash & Young.
Deanne Lane’s father, Ray, was a famous Michigan sportscaster. From 1967 through 1972, he teamed with Ernie Harwell on Detroit Tigers radio broadcasts; he also worked on the team's television broadcasts from 1999-2003. Lane has also broadcast at various times for the Lions, Pistons, Red Wings, University of Michigan & Michigan State football and University of Detroit basketball. Lane was also sports director at WJBK television (succeeding Van Patrick) and later at WKBD. Outside of Michigan, Lane's other works include a stint with the Cincinnati Reds (1979-1984), and several Big 10 college basketball games on ESPN in the early-mid 1980s.

In 1990, my grandma Mil gave me a book with a list of movies I should see from the turn of the century until 1980. I used to rent them & try to see one of them a week. But some weren’t on video & then in 1994 came TCM. They helped me finish my list.
We asked Robert about the Oscar trends, why comedies never win and his career as an actor on “The Beverly Hillbillies.” The 31 Days of Oscar on TCM begins on Friday.
From Laurie’s favorite Christmas film, Die Hard: “It's Christmas time in Hollis, Queens / Mom's cooking chicken and collard greens.”
