More damn traffic updates; basically news was traffic today. As Dave said, traffic will be news for the next two years.

Lanes To Close on I-270 Tomorrow (St. Louis, MO) Two lanes on I-270 will close tomorrow as part of the final preparations for the Highway 40 shutdown.  Crews will close the two right lanes on northbound I-270 between Highway 40 and Ladue from 7 a.m. tomorrow until 4 p.m. The lanes will be re-striped for traffic shifting during the shutdown. Crews will also be re-striping the ramps from eastbound Highway 40 to northbound and southbound I-270.  The ramps may undergo occasional 15-minute closures.

New Traffic Law Goes Into Effect In St. Charles County On January First (St. Charles County, MO) A new law will go into effect for certain commercial vehicles in St. Charles County on January first.  Vehicles with a registered gross weight of more than 24,000 pounds are banned from the far left lane along I-70. It’s a Class A misdemeanor if a crash results from violating this law.

Highway Advisory - Eastbound & Westbound Interstate 70 will be closed between Union & Kingshighway from 10 pm Saturday to noon on Sunday to remove the old pedestrian bridge. Please plan an alternate route.

Highway Advisory - I-64 between Ballas Road and I-170 will be closed starting January 2nd and continuing until the end of 2008. Please plan an alternate route.

Tomorrow, Sat. 12/29 – I’ll play the “Promo Show.” A summary of all the daily recycler promos we produce each day.

Mon. 12/31 – I’ll replay the Promo Show.
Tue. 1/1 - Music only – We’ll be recovering.
Wed. 1/2 - The Showgram will be back to live shows beginning with our new Pre-Wind beginning at 5:30am.

The JoY was Monty Python’s “I Bet You They Won’t Play This Song on the Radio.” The 3fA featured Deep Purple. The Vault was live “Over the Hills & Far Away” by Led Zeppelin.

Finally, thanks for reading and I’ll write something for you, the listener, in 2008!

Don't Do Anything Stupid,
Carl The Intern
