Tuesday, 11/6 -- Hi to all our friends on both the right & the left.

JC & Laurie can’t read their computer screens because they keep leaning to the left.

Someone lost $200,000 by not claiming their winnings within the 180-day limit. We made fun of them. In JC’s experiences, lottery tickets stop women from crying.

Laurie went to see Body Worlds at the Science Center. She gives it five outta five Macs. It’s not for everyone, but she believes that if you, the listener, can stomach it, you should go. Learn more & get tickets here.

To learn about the financial “situation” for Joyce Meyer Ministries, click here for Ministry Watch. (MinistryWatch is an online database with profiles on more than 400 of the largest church and parachurch ministries in the United States. It is also a place where you can learn about how to be a "responsible giver.") They gave her a “C.”

"The Simpsons” episode with Lisa reading the Greatest Sports Injuries book was with “Bart Star”.

John thinks Attorney General nominee Michael Mukasey’s name should be pronounced “Muck-a-see.”

We had a very serious discussion of water boarding, Baltimore vs. the Rams, Joyce Meyer, the Holy Grail, & the genius of Gallagher (the comedian / fruit destroyer).

Nobody got my joke with the lyrics from “Car Wash.” Which, I suppose, is a good thing.

David Copperfield tries too hard to get the ladies.

The Post Dispatch is the 25th largest paper in the country (M-F). They are 20th on Sundays.

Rest in peace: Penny Ann Rice, Feb. 15, 1950 - Feb. 21, 2007.

One out of seven people in the US has worms.

While out shopping for a new garbage disposal last night, I saw a Salvation Army bell ringer outside the store. Once again, I saw a holiday bell ringer on the 5th of November. Laurie saw one last week, too.

We had Terri Irwin on The Showgram this morning. We played a clip of Steve Irwin right before we spoke to her. And I thought JC was gonna make her cry, but she is very strong and resigned to everything that has happened to her. “In Steve’s Footsteps” is a documentary airing this Sunday night on Animal Planet. Find out more about the Irwins here.

We talked about our auditioning history. John did something – he claims it was a photo shoot – for Enterprise and got $800 for just standing around disappointing the casting director. I did plays in high school and college (but I had problems with learning lines). Laurie goes on about 50 auditions a year; today she has to box. We took a detour talking about JC’s racist high school “chums.” Then Laurie & I “boxed.” She kicked my butt with one swift kick to the nuts. But I don’t think that is going to help her on her audition.

That’s corny. No, this is corny:

And now from the front:

The JoY was Jerry Seinfeld from “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” last Friday. The 3fA featured “Election” songs from Alice Cooper, CCR & John Lennon. The Vault was “Outlaw Man” by Eagles. Finally, today in 1967 Phil’s “Donahue” show began in Dayton.
