JC compares radio jobs to the guys at the Chrysler plant. One day everything seems fine and the next day ... blam!

John has been with the company for 31.5 years. I’ve been with the company for 17 years (minus 3 months). This is Laurie’s 3rd radio job. And some of you might have heard of JC’s job history.
We don’t like food commercials where the burgers crunch (or sqwoosh) & the condiments fall off the sides.
It was the first time in 23 years that Mike had gone on the air with JC. It was worth the wait. It was a good interview and kudos to Laurie for pulling it together.

The Cubs sucking (yet again) saved JC’s yet-to-happen marriage. On his honeymoon, if the Cubs would have made it to the World Series, serious discussions would have had to have taken place to allow the groom to watch the games. Luckily, this didn’t happen. But he is getting married in 13 days.
The new Rasmussen Report results are out. Here are some of the findings:
-- As many people want the troops to come home as they want them to stay until the Iraq war is “over.”
-- More people care about the presidential campaign than OJ. (Liars!)
-- Missouri thinks that our president is doing a “poor” job but out governor is doing a “fair” one.
-- If the MO gubernatorial election were to take place today: Blunt over Nixon 44-43%.
-- People don’t want taxes to fix their bridges or highways.
-- Those polled don’t think that Union dues shouldn’t be used for political campaign contributions.
-- 48% think that a presidential candidate’s spouse should be active & in the forefront.

We also had Mike Viviano from Viviano’s Festa Italiano. As of yesterday their locations have doubled. Laurie is broadcasting from the new location in Chesterfield at the corner of 141 & Olive on Saturday from 10:30am-12:30pm. And don’t forget the original – 14 miles south at the intersection of Old Hwy 30 & 141.
The JoY was Jerry Seinfeld at the Pharmacy. The 3fA featured Pete Townsend’s solo work and our Carlos Mencia tickets. The Vault was an a cappella version of Yes’ “Leave It.” Finally, in Defending Your Life Meryl Streep ate spaghetti very sloppily.
