Monday, 10/15 -- Hi, hi, hi, hi, hi, hi, hi, hi, hi, hi, hi, hi, hi, hi. That’s one “hi” for everyday before JC gets married.

This morning John’s hair looks a bit like Christopher Lloyd in Back to the Future.

“Supposebly” is not a word. According to Urban Dictionary, it came from “Friends.”

I fixed John’s microphone today (after I probably kicked it).

Things to make sure you, the listener, & your spouse both agree on before marriage:
* Ability to Compromise
* Money
* Housework responsibilities
* A Plan for Kids
* Holidays
* Discipline
* Religion
* Communications, cheating

See the reasons why at Dumb Little Man: Tips for Life.

JC’s fears about his upcoming marriage: eventually, she’ll either start smoking or become a religious freak.

Rich Hall invented the term "sniglet" (if not the concept) and collected and published several volumes of them:

* Sniglets: Any Word That Doesn't Appear in the Dictionary, but Should (1984)
* More Sniglets: Any Word That Doesn't Appear in the Dictionary, but Should (1985)
* Unexplained Sniglets of the Universe (1986)
* Angry Young Sniglets (1987)
* When Sniglets Ruled the Earth (1989)

He lived in the UK for a while and had three television shows “across the pond.” And according to Matt Groening, he is also the inspiration for Moe from “The Simpsons.”

Lots of former television reporters are now “communication / public relations / community affairs directors” around town including Julius Hunter (Saint Louis University), Al Wiman (Webster University) and Jeff Lea (Lambert Airport). Former KSDK-ers Jeff Fowler (SLU) is married to Jean Jackson (at Parks College of Engineering, Aviation, and Technology at…SLU).

Jim Hayes from Fox Sports Net is married to Erin O'Neill formerly from KSDK.

According to Ken Burns 1,000 WWII veterans are dying a day, so JC wants to learn how to play “Taps” on the bugle (and he can play the bugle).

This is supposed to be from Grease - the dog is Danny & the owner is Sandy:

JC is hosting the Our Lady of Lourdes Men’s Club Sports Trivia Challenge on Friday, November 16th. To get a table or to find out more call Dale at 314.863.2704.

That Tom Petty doc is tonight at the Wehrenberg Galaxy 14.

John’s youngest daughter gets to go to the Hannah Montana concert on Wednesday!

Jerry Seinfeld's television show hasn't been on the air for nearly a decade. But he's still the top-earning comedian in America because of it. Numbers 2-10:
-- David Letterman
-- Ben Stiller
-- Jay Leno
-- Adam Sandler
-- George Lopez
-- Vince Vaughan
-- Larry the Cable Guy
-- Jeff Foxworthy
-- and Dane Cook.

The Nickelodeon Slime Mobile is coming to Six Flags on October 20th. Find out more here.

Who’d We See:

Laurie – Friday: went to the Home Show, then to Vito’s pizza where all the SLU kids paid with plastic. She also had her performances of I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. The show is closing on November 10th to make room for the new Christmas show (starring Laurie’s husband) so get goin’ if ya wanna see it.

JC: had a picture hanger named “Flash Gordon” who has traveled around the world. Friday night “Triple C” had her Bachelorette party and when JC woke up he had three women sleeping in his house. Saturday - “Triple C” was mistaken for a high-schooler while shopping for wedding clothes. They then lunched at Ozzie’s & fell asleep at 8:30 pm and woke up to watch the Rams.

John: Friday, he supported his wife while she got her PRK surgery and then his youngest to her soccer game. Saturday – play practice, party, and a wedding reception for Denise & Tom. Sunday – he took two of his kids to PSR (Public School Religion) class. Then he had more soccer and some home painting. He ended the weekend with a Chili cook-off at the Valanda home – hooray for chili #6.

(Although I wasn’t asked – I was ready!) Me: Friday – I had a hockey game. During the game I saw Mike Shannon & Joseph R. Gannascoli who played “Vito Spatafore” from “The Sopranos” (both at the game). Afterwards I got to hang out with Bruce Affleck & his wife, Chris Kerber, Kelly Chase and Fox Sports Net Midwest producer Tim Pabst. They were going over to the Old Rock House but I went home because my wife was going outta town. So Saturday I was solo parenting. And we took all our Stuckmeyer’s stuff and had a “Harvest Celebration” & I taught my daughter how to bow. And we also finished teaching her to print her name. Then my wife came home and we had Italian for the 2nd week in a row. Last week we went to LoRussa’s Cucina & this weekend, Macaroni Grill.

Captain Carl’s Buried Treasure was “same score, same attendance (19,150)” at the first two hockey games.

The JoY was stand-up from Larry Miller. The 3fA featured Huey Lewis & the News and pairs of Carlos Mencia tickets. The Vault was Heart’s “Love Reign O’er Me” from the Dreamboat Annie Live. Finally, James Spader was in White Palace (1990) filmed here.
