Hi my listener-type friends!
JC doesn’t hate unions, he hates abuses of power. Speaking of which, he’s getting married in 18 days.
The Blues won their home opener last night! I got to hang out with some Blues Alumni after the game. JC says that my pores are oozing alcohol. Maybe.
Would you, the listener, like to make my life easier? Then next time you go to a hockey game (like say Friday or next Saturday) stop by the sound board (between sections 111-112) & say how much you like the music at the games. Thanks.
Laurie thinks the Blues should play the theme from “Cops” for Brad Boyes. I tried to explain to everyone that it wasn’t as easy as that.
We had Andy Banker from Fox2 on the air with us talking about Sunday’s Millstadt Optimist Club 7th Annual Cook Off.
His brother, Ted Banker, played professional football in the NFL:

Born: 2/17/1961, in Belleville, IL, USA
High School: Althoff (Belleville, IL)
College: Southeast Missouri State University
He played 75 games from 1984-89 for (mostly) the Jets & the Browns (one season).
Esquire says that Charlize Theron Is the Sexiest Woman Alive.

2. Amy Winehouse
1. Sarah Jessica Parker (Yes! Yes! Yes!)
Hey to Allison Stroud, who came to see us today & fell asleep in the studio.
Bobby Brown thought he was dying so he grabbed a video camera & gave Whitney Houston the finger on the tape.
We had Joe Bonwich, the food writer from the Post, on this morning. His daughter, Lucie Bonwich, is a model. Here is one of her shots.

Sweetbread is the name of a dish made of the thymus gland or pancreas of an animal younger than one year old.
Joe waits at least a month after a new restaurant opens before going to it. We discussed the specifics of how to give a review and how to prepare for it.
Joe talked about new restaurants like: Scape and Crêpes, Red, Sage, the Tip Top, Sydney Street, 15, Rasoi, House of India (reopening) and Oraca – I don’t know how to spell this last one. This is my best guess.
73% of Americans celebrate Halloween.
The 10 Commandments:

Thou shalt not make wrongful use of the name of thy God.
Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy.
Honor thy Father and Mother.
Thou shalt not murder.
Thou shalt not commit adultery.
Thou shalt not steal.
Thou shalt not bear false witness.
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house.
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife.
The Big Mac:
Two beef patties,
"special sauce"

The JoY was Comedy Central’s “Wedding Vows.” The 3fA featured a Michael McDonald-less Doobie Brothers. The Vault was “Blue Guitar” from Blue Jays, the 1975 album by Justin Hayward and John Lodge. It was recorded and released during the Moody Blues' five-year hiatus. Finally, “Saturday Night Live” debuted on this day in 1975. Billy Crystal was bumped from that first show, later to rejoin the cast.
