Hey, everybody. JC is getting married in 19 days (or about 1.6 million seconds).
The Saint Louis Blues home opener is tonight. The opening ceremonies for tonight are the most extravagant I’ve ever seen since I started being the Blues Music Coordinator in the fall of 1996. Laurie loves the “Whatever It Takes” theme. JC is worried that the marketing campaign is actually better than the team will be. John thinks they will make the playoffs. And I think you, the listener, should come down to opening night tonight vs. the Predators or Friday night to see the Avalanche.
Someone paid $200 to golf with JC next Monday at the KHITS 96 Golf Tournament.
JC was at the county courthouse yesterday to prove to the Jamaicans that he is allowed to become married. And he saw the parade of reporters outside the Michael Devlin plea hearing. He saw the very attractive Jasmine Huda from KSDK and Michelle Anselmo from KPLR. JC wanted to tell a Bill O’Reilly story and soon he might be able to do so. We took Bill to task for his comments on the Devlin case. But Keith Olbermann said it best when he named him the "worst person in the world".

Contrary to what I said, Alex Rodriguez never played a game for the Red Sox. But he almost did. He played for Seattle from 1994-2000, Texas 2001-03, and has been with the Yankees since, from 2004-07.
Prior to A-Rod signing with the Yankees in February of 2004, a trade came very close to being sealed that would have sent Red Sox outfielder Manny Ramirez to the Rangers in a swap of the game's biggest contracts. But, the players' union would not approve a restructuring of Rodriguez's contract that would have reduced its value by $4 million a year. So thanks, Ted, for clarifying that for me. John still believes that he’s leaving the Yanquees.
The JoY was Darrell Hammond doing Fred Thompson from last weekend’s “SNL.” The Fab4 featured Bono & the Edge doing “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” from the Across the Universe soundtrack. The Vault was “Don’t Let It End” by Styx. Finally, “Bosom Buddies” took place in the Susan B. Anthony Hotel.
