Happy Birthday to John’s youngest daughter.
John didn’t play golf with Alice Cooper yesterday because of … well, a few things.
First, the Sauget Gentleman’s Clubs were playing a tournament at the course they were supposed to play. Second, it seems that Alice was lost in O’Fallon, MO instead of O’Fallon, IL. Third, Alice doesn’t have a cell phone. Or possibly John & our Music Director were blown off.
I think that Marc Bulger getting hurt could be a good thing. Remember Trent Green? John says that is what made the Rams' Super Bowl run in 1999 so special.
When Bill O’Reilly was here earlier in the year, JC was sick. Yesterday Laura Ingraham was here and JC was in Chicago. Coincidence? Mr. Conspiracy Theory doesn’t think so.
Speaking of conspiracies, we would’ve spoke to Peter Frampton on the air this morning, if he would’ve called us on time.
Last Friday, John gave JC a book about the Cubs for his birthday. But JC thought that John was trying to warn him about a psycho-killer.
We had day two of our NBC’s “My Name is Earl”/“The Office” contests. Laurie told us the truthful story about her being late for work at her first radio job in Quincy, IL when she locked herself out of her apartment. Our daily prizes: The Office Season 3 DVD; The Office Dunder Mifflin Snow Globe; BBQ Grill Set packed with an Earl Apron and 7 piece tool set; My Name is Earl Trucker Hat; Karma Keychain Bottle-Opener; NBC Koozie 6-Pack. The Grand Prize is a Hewlett-Packard Pavilion Notebook with AMD Turion 64x2 Mobile Technology TL-64 and customized NBC Comedy Night Done Right case. Watch those shows Thursday night and try to win.
With the Cards out of it and the Rams doing poorly, the Blues can take the hearts of the city.
Rock N ’ CholesteRoll 2007 is this Saturday and kids under 10 can enter without an admission charge!
Happy endings are now legal (or at least protected, for now) in Canada.
Shigellosis is a bacterial infection affecting the intestinal tract. Please be careful and wash those hands!
People who regularly get less than five hours of sleep each night are 170% more likely to die from all causes and have a 200% more chance of dying of heart disease than people who get more sleep.
We talked about this Friday and I didn’t think it was a big deal. But I keep getting e-mails from you, the listener, so here is a quick recap: I use three Replay TVs on my teevees and Windows Media Center on 2 of my computers. But I also use DVaRchive on my computer to pull shows off of the DVRs.
JC doesn’t consider Knocked Up a romantic comedy.
We are giving away four packs of tickets to The Rat Pack (opening next week at the Fox) in addition to a gift certificate to Cutter’s & Company in the Chase and a copy of the soundtrack by asking Vegas trivia. Robert Urich was Dan Tanna in “Vega$.” I remember Tony Curtis as his boss. Dan had a swinging bachelor pad where he could park inside the house. JC remembers the secretary on the show, Beatrice Travis played by Phyllis Davis. She also starred in 1973’s Sweet Sugar as Sugar but it was also known as Captive Women 3, Chaingang Girls, Hellfire on Ice and She Devils in Chains. See more about this fine film here.

34 days btw; we are under 3 million seconds.
The JoY was Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout Would Not Take the Garbage Out by Shel Silverstein. The 3fA featured John’s sometime golf buddy (although not yesterday) Alice Cooper. And we also did our Four Tops giveaway, too. The Vault was our not-Frampton interview. Finally, in Fight Club the narrator (played by Edward Norton) is obsessed with IKEA furniture.
Don’t Do Anything Stupid,
Carl The Intern
