They taught me so much, that I've grown, you know, to be a better person because of them. You know, they just taught me a lot of things."
Leigh Anne Tuohy on Michael's impact on their family: "He had a probably much greater impact on our lives than, you know, we did on his life, because it was, you know, you have this child and you bring him in and you just, you know, you realize how fortunate you are. How just, you know, you're blessed to have family, your blessed to have, you know, your health. You know, you just take things, you know, so much in life you take for granted.
Sandra Bullock on playing Leigh Anne: "She might not be famous here, but she's known in other places and I think I felt a great sense of fear in trying to tackle that person she is, but also a great sense of obligation to be true to this like wonderful ... cause you, John could not explain Leigh Anne to save his life. When I met Leigh Anne I said now I know why. You can't, cause she's original."
