Drew Johnson's BlogDREW JOHNSON

WEEKDAYS 1:00pm-6:00pm

Drew Johnson launched his rock radio career at KSHE in 1983, and has been keeping listeners company ever since. Drew brought his legendary smooth, natural on-air style to K-HITS 96 in 2000, where he now shares his passion for music with afternoon drivers. Many don't know this, but Drew actually studied theater in college and had wanted to be a stage actor. But, as he says, "I was sidetracked by rock 'n roll." And St. Louis appreciates his decision to pursue that passion. Drew knows how to present the classic hits of yesterday in a manner that makes them just as alive and relevant today. His ability to connect and relate to his listeners makes Drew an irreplaceable piece of the KHITS lineup. St. Louis rock radio veteran, Drew Johnson, can be heard Monday through Friday from 2PM to 7PM.

American Idol finale tonight!

Posted 5/15/2013 3:51:00 PM

Season 12 may end as an actual singing competition!  Imagine that!!  The 2 remaining contestants (both female) are REALLY good vocalists.  Frankly, I'm surprised Angie Miller.....the woman eliminated last week isn't singing tonight. She's the whole package, but I'm guessing there are more country fans out there, than pop fans.  That's why Kree is in the finals, rather than Angie. Aside from that, the woman that should win it tomorrow night is Candice Glover.  She's an extremely talented singer. Let's hope America gets it right & crowns Candice.  But either way.....the top 3 will all be successful artists.

As a side note....it's ashame this years ratings were the lowest in the history of American Idol, because the female talent was possibly the best it's ever been.  P.S.  It looks like the only judge to return next year might be Keith Urban. Randy Jackson has already announced his departure.  As for ...
