Here at the radio station is a group of younger people that love music and seek me out to talk about it. One thing I can’t help but notice is that they are unaware or untrained in the basics of high audio quality.  The reason for this is easily traced. Most of their listening is done on portable devices using headphones or earbuds.             I have been using headphones practically every day of my life for more than 40 years. I have used heavy expensive “cans”, cheap lightweight earbuds, and everything in between.
